Derek had his first camera (a Coronet Twelve-20) at around the age of 13. A box camera, taking black and white film... It was the 1960s! Since then, after 20 years of teaching and 24 years of advertising, the kit has changed, but the desire to take photos has not... although, Derek is very much in the digital world now! In his retirement, Derek likes to cycle, dabble in AmDram, and take photos anywhere and everywhere...
